I've managed to avoid covid for 3 years, I think due to being extremely careful and having 6 vaccines. Hubby and I have only had some 2 or 3 day breaks to Dumfries, North Yorks, Morpeth and Durham since November 2021.He was away down to mid Wales at a fishing competition last week and came home on Friday feeling miserable, coughing and sneezing, and tested strongly positive.
He went straight to spare room, I sanitised anywhere he'd touched or been and left his drinks, food and medicines on a tray at the door and retreated.
He had to leave the room to go to the bathroom along the hall but I always wore a mask when upstairs until in my room, as did he.
He has started to feel better since last night although still got a strong positive test this morning and as I had a bit of a cough and sore throat I decided to test ( tested Sat, Sun and negative). The test showed a faint line although it took almost the full 15 minutes to show.
