I have itchy skin which is affecting my sleep lately. So my doctor ordered a blood test and a urine test. While almost all the results are within the normal level, I am concerned with the drop in eGFR. My prior blood test was done 6 months ago and the eGFR at that time was 107. But it drops to 98 this time. While I understand 98 is still well within the normal level, I am very concerned with the 9 points drop in just 6 months. At the same time, my Creatinine has also increased from 0.69 to 0.9 and my BUN increased from 15 to 19 between the two tests. Again, while all the indexes are still within the normal levels, should I be worried about the changes? Thank you for your insights and opinions in advance.

Your numbers are enviable and I have always been told that one single set of changed results indicates very little: that we need to see a trend over 2 or 3 blood draws before we can conclude anything. Consult with your doctor if you're anxious.
The "e" in eGFR is estimated. Creatine could have just been up a little if you had a large amount of cooked meat within a period of time before the blood draw. Creatine goes up and down all of the time for any number of reasons. They are looking for patterns. Your numbers are nearly perfect. Take a deep breath
