Hi Royce, here goes nothing! I am scared of not being able to walk. Why? because I don't want to be "confined" to a wheel chair. What I can do to minimize it is exercise, eat right, take my meds, sleep properly, pray, meditate, and so on. Even as I do those things it may slow down the progression but i still might need a wheel chair. Are you doing that? yes. and No. I am not a helpless victim of this disease. Feeling confused and powerless.
have you ever sat in a wheelchair or a scooter. They are actually not as bad as you think witha little practice there is honestly not much thaat you can not do
Well that’s a loaded question, but I’ll try to be brief.
I’m afraid of becoming a weak and miserable shell of the person I use to be, and I’m not doing everything I could do to prevent that from happening, but I still have goals for this year...but they are contingent on consistent sleep. Soon, I hope!
no no no, do your exercise eat right really do everything that you can think of to stay stronge and supple. Do not hope be consistent, make it your goal, work at it.
you answered everyone with good answers..as usual your great to help others and to help them to except what they are afraid of ..the answer about a wheel chair is great.. i love my scooter and it is fun..use one now just to see what fun they can be and then if you have to use more often you already know about how to use and the fun you can have with one ....i did and so glad we both have them for we can keep on going when we are to tired to keep on with others and we can still be with them...so fun...
