Jobs working from home on the phone.

Does anyone know how I can secure a way to earn money from home?

Doing surveys doesn't seem the way to accomplish that.

Thank you.

You know I’ve heard call centers are a good way to make a living online. Try Convergys full time jobs or Arise. Arise doesn’t work out for everyone with independent contractor self-run companies but Convergys offers more paid hours. There are other jobs with call centers too.

Thank you. I'll look into both of them.

You could try looking into a company called Sykes. I know they have positions where you can work remotely. Best wishes!

lbenmaor , if you know any second language pretty well, you might be able to find freelance work as a translator or interpreter. It helps to have good computer skills, and many of those who hire translators require you to use CAT (computer-assisted translation).

Some people can do medical transcribing at home.

You could sign up for participation in research projects. I've done this for years but it's only occasional money. One year I signed up for one that paid me $400 but that was unusual.

I've known people who do crafts at home and sell them--though again, it probably isn't a big moneymaker for most people.

If you have a marketable skill, it might be good to find an agent to help you get started.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. It's not easy to find a way you can work at home. Some people in computer programming are often allowed to work from home, particularly if they've been employed for a while and have established themselves as reliable.

Thank you so much. How did you find out about the research project?

Probably through ResearchMatch.org. You register with them, and they send you information about any projects you might want to sign up for. Some are paid, and some aren't. It wouldn't earn you a living but can bring in occasional bonuses of $25-$50 now and then.
