Dry Skin & Combined Pill

I am wondering if I am experiencing severe dry skin (only on the face) due to my contraceptive pill. I take femodene and have done for years. Over the last 5 my skin has gotten significantly drier and flares up badly, red, itchy, intense dryness.

I am otherwise healthy (optimal thyroid, but d, iron, b vits etc) and of a healthy weight,

I have read there are some correlations between combined pill and dry skin? I naturally already had dry skin but it seems to be even drier on this pill. I am considering discussing with my doctor about changing or coming off entirely.

Any other similar experiences?

I think it's worth chatting to your GP. I have found any hormonal changes trigger my dry skin and increase in eczema symptoms until my body gets used to the change. So puberty, the Pill, coming off the Pill, and lastly menopause.
