My son has some sort of infection underneath his toes and it's gotten worse. Does anyone know what this is? And how to treat it?

I would send photo to your GP if that is how they are consulting, but in the meantime my go to for any foot infection is tea tree oil. You can get this in an ointment form or as the essential oil. If using the oil, use 2 drops in about 100ml cooled, boiled water, dab on using small sections of cotton wool and leave to dry. Hope this will help a bit.

Could be impetigo?

It is difficult to tell if it is Impetigo from this image. Impetigo usually clears up without treatment within three weeks but in rare cases, complication happens and can develop Cellulitis. Usually this type of infection is treated with Mupirocin 2% ointment (applied directly to the sores two to three times a day for five to 10 days), but you'll need a prescription for that. Since this is getting worse, it is best to consult his doctor / GP as soon as you can. We don't know if this impetigo but impetigo is a highly contagious condition, hence it is important to take precautions to reduce the risk of the infection spreading.
