Hard lump that won’t go away

Hello, I have had a hard lump on the back of my knee for well over 9 months now. I went to the drs 5 months ago and he glanced at it and told me it was just a spot but will get me booked in to have it removed. The removal has now been cancelled twice and it’s getting bigger and I now have another one above it which isn’t going. Has anyone had something similar and know what I can do to get rid of them or stop them growing? Tia x

Sorry Jade I have no idea but the pattern of appointment cancellations is becoming a common problem on this site and among my friends and family members. Combination of NHS staff with Covid or in isolation and the attempt to catch up on 18 months of missed surgery.

Get back to your doctor, sending a picture of them both, explain the changes, and ask if he can ask for a quicker appointment for you. Failing that, You could ring through to the appointment people and ask for a 'cancellataion' - but then be ready to go at very, very short notice.

Nothing will speed up if you don't call attention to your problem.
