Please help! What is this painful raised patch of skin on my cheek?

Please help! Does anyone know what this patch of skin is on my cheek? I’ve had it for about 10 years, it used to throb with pain and feel like a sharp bruise when touched. It’s less painful these days but still red, bumpy and raised. The dermatologists I’ve seen have no idea and all I can think of is maybe a hypertrophic scar? I also have very mild rosacea. I’ve tried an anti inflammatory diet / bbl laser / cortisone injection and natural remedies like lavender and tea tree oils / also just leaving it alone. I’m completely out of ideas and no idea where to go for help.

Thank you to anyone who can help :)

Dear PNWForest,

Please don't 'Bite My Head Off', for this reply but..... Since this, for want of a better word, 'Area' isn't now Causing You Too Much 'Trouble'- unless I have completely Misread your 'Post'- then isn't it best 'Left Alone'.... at least until you can see a Specialist? By all means, carry on with E45, and so on, and Try- Covid Not Withstanding- to see your GP. Please Don't, whatever you do, Poke, Prod or Squeeze it.

Just a thought but... Have you spoken to your Local Pharmacist? Often a Very Overlooked Professional Resource. Pharmacist are 'highly trained people'...only generally used if 'Baby' has Nappy Rash! Worth a 'Word' surely.

I know that I 'Speak' for us ALL, when I wish you a Speedy Recovery.... and a....

Happy New Year 2021.

Thank you for your suggestions Andrew, that’s not a bad idea. I’ll try the local pharmacies. I know, it is something that maybe I could leave alone due to it being less painful than before but unfortunately it does cause me a lot of insecurity being on my face... also a lot of worry in case it gets bigger and out of control. Something I have to emotionally work through and get over i suppose, if I can’t get rid of it. Thanks again for your comments
