Family and I never noticed it till after puberty it became apparent. Am 18 now

I think you need to show your GP and get a referral to a dermatologist. I could hazard a guess but that's all it would be. The best place to indemnify it is via a doctor and/or a dermatologist. GP may have some ideas but the dermatologist has the specialist training and if needed able to do any tests that they think are required to fully diagnose and treat or advise.

Yeah i'd rather not go into debt to find out this is just a birthmark or something non life threatening.. Whats your guess?

I take it from your reply you don't live in the UK.

I'm not going to guess as it can be a number of things that I know of. It's up to you what you do about it and whether or not you think it's worth seeing a doctor. Plus a birth mark is something you would have had since new born or as a baby and if so and it hasn't changed much since then I very much doubt that it would kill you.
