I’m 16 and have had kp on my face since I was 12. I have red little bumps on my cheeks that don’t pop or go away. Need some help immediately! My parents have never had it so I’m confused.

Hi Ruby,

In my experience, KP is triggered by a dairy sensitivity. But, wheat gluten can trigger it, as well. Basically, any food could be a culprit. But, dairy and gluten are the top offenders.

Try an elimination of dairy for 6-8 weeks and keep notes of changes that occur. If none, then try eliminating gluten (wheat, barley, rye) for 8-10 weeks. But, be aware that it can take up to 12 weeks for skin issues caused by gluten intolerance to begin to clear.

Good luck.😊
