What is TSW? It depends on what is provoking the swelling....

Tsw is topical steroid withdrawal. It’s when the skin becomes addicted to steroid cream. The patient stops and the skin flares. Becomes bright red, it spreads and all hair begins to fall out, the itch becomes soooo deep as the nerve endings die. The skin becomes extreme extreme extreme dry, beyond your comprehension dry. Elephant skin sets in around the body. The person gets a thirst beyond their control they can drink damns of water and still thirsty, the Paterson can’t regulate their temperature, he skin may ooze puss for weeks maybe months, all the skin falls off the person, and so the list goes on!!!! I know I just went through it .. I’m the other side

Dang. That's shocking. What monsters are prescribing this until this happens? How long did it take for that to happen? What can be done to reverse the damage?

I am guessing as you have come on My Skin that TSW is Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Hopefully you will get some responses from others who have gone through this as the swollen ankles and heavy legs could be caused by a number of conditions.

Hi for swollen ankles and feet no matter the cause you need to raise them above your heart so the fluid drains back either lie on the floor and put your legs up the wall or on your bed with lots of pillows under you legs .when they are a bit better look on u tube for some exercises to do every day .This has worked for me a few times 😃

This is natural. They may even reduce them increase later on as you travel through the stages of tsw. If you stop moisturising they will get better. At first they will worsen but after 6 weeks you’ll see significant change and tsw heals faster
