Is it a fungus? infection?

I do wrestling and maybe got it from that. First seen 1 and a half days ago.

It's hard to see in the image. It's more pink/redish in person.

It could easily be fungal, bacterial, or viral. But, I would first go with fungal. Which is very common for athletes.

I would try using Lotrimin (Clotrimazole) which is an OTC anti-fungal cream for athletes' foot (but, is useful for fungal infections in general). Miconazole cream for female yeast infections, will work just as well, if the rash is fungal.

For a more natural, but still very effective route, try swabbing pure strength Apple Cider Vinegar (with the Mother) on it several times a day. ACV has both antifungal/ antibacterial properties, and can also work for warts.

There is a prescription cream (Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream) that is prescribed for quite a few skin ailments with a fungal component that is effective and good to have around. But, it requires a diagnosis first. (That is why I just make my own with OTC Clotrimazole and Hydrocortisone 1% cream. I have personally found it to be effecive.)

Note: I had hand, foot, and mouth disease once, and the blister like rash looks similar. If that is what it is, it will resolve itself in about ten days. You may feel kind of achy for a few days. The doctor prescribed the prescription cream above and OTC ibuprofen for discomfort.

There are also skin colored warts (viral) that have this appearance. In which case, if the other suggestions don't work, you could try OTC Salicylic Acid (17%) wart treatment liquid. Use as directed.

Hope some of the suggestions help you out. If they don't; go see the doc.😊
