Treatment for severe OCD

I've undergone surgery for my bad OCD. It helped quite well. I know the FDA has accepted the newer operation type, Deep Brain Stimulation, to offer us, OCD sufferers.

I don't exactly know what it is said about DBS in FDA's guidelines, but they consider this surgery as an exception if no other method helps.

hi, glad to hear you are doing well. Can I ask what differences have you noticed after the surgery?

Hi! This word "surgery" would need a more in-depth story, but in general I think I got quite a good help. I saw afterwards, I can mention some changes in my OCD: e.g. instead of taking a 4-hour-shower for me it's enough with 15 minutes today. And another washing ritual: before the surgery, I washed my hands so much during days that my hands were full of wounds. Today, I only wash my hands if there can be seen something that I have to wash away. Some other time I'll tell more. Bye!
