Naltrexone treatment for fibro pain?

My old pain doctor recently retired and I have seen a new one. Unfortunately, she won't continue my low dose hydrocodone/acetaminophen. She wanted to put me on Nalrexone which is for treatment of opioid addiction. It is also found to treat other things including fibromyalgia. What the doc failed to mention is it worked in about 20% of women in a couple of studies. I was willing to try it, but Medicare doesn't cover it and I would have to pay $89 for the first month! I'm on disability so I cannot afford that. Anyone else have success with Halted some for fibro pain?
