If we are not getting the antibodies, or do not want the vaccine, here is something else which may help reduce the risks - they are trying to get a drug from it - but why not actually consume the real thing?

Yay!!!Thanks for sharing! I already consume kefir and live yoghurt for the good bacteria, and reading it could lessen cytokine storms is great, given they’re an issue for us MPNers anyway x
I sure do agree - even if it is not for Covid - anything that helps is great
More research into natural remedies the better.
Meanwhile we can ‘ experiment ‘ on ourselves !! Xx
That's very interesting. I eat Kefir occasionally but probiotic yugort daily X 2. I will increase it. So with Vit C, Devon and zinc we should have some protection. Thanks for posting.
look at different krauts as well - they have HUGE amounts of Vit C (amongst other things) and in the form which I body can easily access.
Eating fermented foods also helps with the absorption of zinc.
just one article about fermented foods: draxe.com/nutrition/ferment...
It is always advisable to check with your haematology team that it is ok to eat Kefir and pro-biotics and any other supplements and vitamins.
As said before - they do not know about dietary things. My specialist and my doctor BOTH gave the same answer - they have only had half a day training on it. They are BOTH happy that I go down this path and are more than interested to see what results I achieve.
That's great, it will be very interesting to know how you get on with it. Maz
Thanks - I just cannot put untested stuff into my body - what the heck is going on in our bone marrow with this?
- we know that the vaccines put things in there - and that was never, ever meant to happen, they do not know why it is happening, nor do they know any short, medium or long term effects.I have found alternative things which have been shown to be of benefit - as in, they are normal everyday foods, without side effects. I am going to run with those in the meantime.
That is where I am at the moment.
I’m afraid there’s no alternative things which have been shown to be of benefit. As Dr Paul Offit said once:
« There's no such thing as conventional or alternative or complementary or integrative or holistic medicine. There's only medicine that works and medicine that does not. »
“Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.” This famous quote is often attributed to Hippocrates. But the original Greek oath, litterally translated, says: “I will apply dietetic and lifestyle measures to help the sick to my best ability and judgment; I will protect them from harm and injustice.”
I guess now that 'modern synthetic' medicine is available - who really cares about food and lifestyle?? Let's just relegate it and give it other names, then perhaps write it off more easily?
In my books - why not give food and lifestyle a go first? Medicine certainly has its place - but maybe there has been too much of a take-over bid? The money makes it worth it for the synthetic manufacturers, and our lack of knowledge (laziness too?) makes it an open market for them.
Remember the days when animal fats were bad - let's go for margarine? Let's continue with processed sugar. let's keep refining our flour. We know so much more now - and I personally have been on an amazing journey of learning about food and what it can do and has done personally for me. Indeed my PV specialist cannot believe how I have been holding my PV at bay and indeed been making inroads into its regression (remember, I had my grandfather and aunt die from this - I take it seriously!)
Just some thoughts.
