Hi Scotty,

I have heard of this, and I am very sorry it has impacted on you so greatly.

If I remember rightly there were thousands of replacement hips fitted, which wear too quickly. This means they need replacing sooner than they should of. As a result of the wear you get microscopic bits of metal absorbed into your blood. This is NOT an immediate health risk, but must be acted upon, hence why they want to sort yours out in the new year.

Good luck

Jonny
