i had 2 hip resurfacing done and after 6years iam getting them done again as iam in alot of pain iam scared now as they said the metel level is high in my blood i dont know what they mean they doing my right hip in feb then my left hip

I have heard of this, and I am very sorry it has impacted on you so greatly.
If I remember rightly there were thousands of replacement hips fitted, which wear too quickly. This means they need replacing sooner than they should of. As a result of the wear you get microscopic bits of metal absorbed into your blood. This is NOT an immediate health risk, but must be acted upon, hence why they want to sort yours out in the new year.
thank you for your help there over 40 women has had to get them out within 5 years in northamptonshire and there is a case with a soliciter he has dealing with 36 women about this but thay getting looked into
