Anxiety: Is it wrong to date my lecturer at University?

The situation I find myself in is very fresh and is starting to stress me out, I met the guy i’m currently seeing through tinder and have only been seeing him for the past two months, I have walked into my lecture today to find he is my new lecturer, this is obviously really awkward for the both of us, with the guy i’m seeing now worrying about this may effect his career. Just some information about us, i’m an 19 year old and he’s 32, so the situation could look potentially inappropriate from an outsiders point of view but we genuinely where both unaware, I knew he worked in Universities and he knew I studied but for some reason where exactly was never brought up, looking back this probably should’ve been discussed but whats done is done, I really genuinely like him and feel like we will get somewhere serious but just wanted other peoples opinion on the situation and to know if there is any laws risking both our places at Uni or worse any chargeable offences being made.

Although this is not something completely linked with health, it is really effecting my mental health with the stress and anxiety. As someone who suffers from anxiety I just wanted any insight that could put my mind to ease because I do not want to lost the person who has played a big role in helping my mental health.

Generally in the UK you are both adult, so seeing each other is not a problem it is all down to the chattering Class. The question is can you keep the relationship out of uni time. The problem as well if you have been arguing can you keep the problem away from the Uni and class members ?

It is a problem only the both of you can know

Personally when I was at Marine College two class members male and femail were going out together, Problems did arise and it brought out some difficult times from students in class.

Personally I do not know how things moved along they were training for the merchant navy, I cannot see the both of them progressing
