What now?

I have Degenerative Disc Disease, nerve damage, a shadow on my kidney which is being investigated & depression. My mobility is crap & have been told I’ll end up in a wheelchair because of my back. My partner helps but I feel like a burden. I just feel numb. I can’t do anything. All I do is stay indoors & watch the world go by without me.

Hello Sarah

I have many of your problems and I have been medically retired for over thirty years. I also have Short term memory disorder and am waiting for further tests because my physical health is bad

To be honest I have, like you problems with mobility. At seventy years old

All I can suggest is the use of TENS machine or Pain machine may help you control your pain . Possibly ask your Doctor to possibly refer you to a Pain Clinic so you can learn how to control your pain.

I have been on Pain Control Courses and they do help so consider so additional help
