Do you need to change your GP
Look up Doctors Surgeries on NHS Information under your area for GP Practices and change if that will help,
Getting appointments at most GP surgeries is a real pain at the moment. For example we are both getting our flu injection, my Wife tomorrow, me on Thursday and my B12 next Tuesday.
You would thing they could be done on the same day

You are right. Most in the psych unit that I have encountered flat out suck. A truly good one is a diamond in the rough. They either overmedicate you or could care less and keep you there to make money from your insurance by way of you occupying a bed. Most are incompetent, lazy or straight up corrupt. There are good ones out there, but are certainly in the minority. As far as staff goes, most I have encountered tend to be good, but there are certainly despicable ones that I would love to meet on the street one on one. Not that I would do anything violent, but I would certainly make them feel just as dehumanized as they made me feel, possibly even more so, as they should know better. People with power over the most vulnerable who abuse that power need to be held accountable. Honest mistakes can and do happen, which are forgivable. We are all human. But those who abuse their authority think that those of us in this community will stay quiet and not pick up on their actions. But, after 10 years, I can separate the good from the bad. And it's time to make some changes. Take care and stay safe.
