Turn to hate?
Maybe it wasn’t love

Unconditional love is the best!
It sure is...but also sad that sometimes people don’t know how to even love with conditions. Wouldn’t even know what unconditional love feels like.
Love turns to hate when there is abuse and the situation doesn't change and it becomes an everlasting cycle of hate, basically because the two of you shouldn't be together. I can't answer the grandparent one...are you in that type of relationship?
My g/parents are not nice people and I believe they don’t know what love is and more importantly how to show it. Especially to a child (me) at the time.
