I have been taking 1mg lorazepam for the last 12 months, my Psychiatrist put me on Venlafazine 25mg 3weeks ago When I went to see him yesterday he exchanged the Lorazepam for 2x2 mg Diazepam is this enough to replace the Lorazepam,

I would be happy to receive any advice

Really you would need to see your doctor about this. If this is what the doctor has prescribed then it should be correct. If you have any worries then it would be a good idea to discuss with him. Having said that it does sound about right to me as they are the same drug, just that the lorazepam is quicker acting than the diazepam so the spaced doses of diazepam should work.
