Overcoming sensitivity

I had a partial circumcision because of phimosis. Because my head is mostly covered I feel OK wearing underwear (I’m at week 3 now).

but the other day I was at the gym and after showering the towel accidentally touched my head and it was awful feeling. Hyper sensitive and unbearable. If I pull back the skin by hand to reveal head, I cannot stand to touch it by hand.

I’m wondering, anyone who had similar super sensitive situation, will it ever be normal?

when can I expect to feel normal again and feel free moving around?

I cannot imagine how sex will be if it is so much sensitive.

I am at month 4 after circumcision. I have the same feeling. I can touch my glans also no problem with my underwear. But sudden touches like you said with a towel etc cause me uncomfortable feeling. Sex is not a problem dont worry but in start you will be akward until erect! When erect you wont have problem also wear condom! I wonder too if it is physocological problem or it needs more time.

hey man. Yeah. My head was super sensitive for several weeks. I'm 4 months now and can just about handle it without any discomfort. Towel banging on it was always the worst! Vaseline helped a bit. But it's really just time that heals.

Allowing contact is the quickest way to it becoming normal! If you can find seamless boxers/briefs they will help a lot. I know it doesn’t seem like it now but you’ll be surprised how quickly the glans get used to the fabric and you can almost totally forget about it (until your dog jumps up at you 🤬)

Time as they say is a great healer. That and introducing touch to the Penis head will help.
