I think so I did it for cosmetic at 44. Going to go back for a revision as it’s not tight, wanted a really tight cut and got medium

Disclaimer - I'm uncut. The question is do you have a problem to solve? Phimosis? Not retracting enough foreskin when erect? Other things? If not then if it's not broke why fix it? The cut guys here can comment on improvement but other times there's an issue with over stimulation/soreness of the glans.

Cosmetic reasons? Well if you're an MP wanting to send out dick picks that's another matter!

Tam43 this is a cosmetic question. Which has now been edited by the moderators.

Any medical intervention carries risks.

If you are in the UK, it is highly unlikely you will get circumcised by the NHS. This means going private. Before operating, the surgeon is duty bound to go through all the significant risks of the procedure, as well as to inform you of, and discuss alternatives. Since the Clinic is there to make money, think carefully about the nature of any pre op discussions particularly omissions. Just saying!

don’t do it. I regret my decision. Loss of sensation. Scar tissue. Sex and masturbation with foreskin is much better than without.

I'm 40 and I had it done to solve life-long phimosis and preputial adhesions - admittedly they did not stop me from having a strong sex life with my wife and fathering a happy and healthy son. However, there are things I've never experienced and could never experience (pain-free sex, blow jobs, etc), and I wanted to be free of the psychological issues of feeling like my penis wasn't normal. I'm now 4 weeks healed, can see what I'm dealing with and how it's all going to end up, and I'm just excited about what the future holds.

For me, it's the knowledge that for better or worse, my foreskin that has caused me so much trouble in life is now not an issue and I have a new normal to get to grips with now. That's the best bit, I feel.

Hi Tam, I had mine done for phimosis, however, knowing what I know now, I would have done it 10 years ago, as everything just seems easier, cleaner and for me, the sex is much better- not that it wasn't great beforehand, mind you.

Hope that helps.

If you need it, yes.

Hey guys. Do not forget that this forum is only for penis health issues and NOT for cosmetic issues. As happy as you might be with your “new toy”, this is not the place to tell everyone.
