I am on day 8 post circumcision and still can’t see where my stitches are because of swollen skin, Hos do I clean when I can’t see this area also surely it’s not going to heal as it is concealed underneath skin so not getting any air to it

I also have similar problem, I got circumcision because of phimosis and asked my doctor to keep as much skin as possible and hence I cannot see my stitches. I’m at day 8 now.

What I’ve been doing since day 2 is I’m gradually and slowly pulling back my skin and some of the stitches are visible, then I’m dry cleaning, putting “Levomikol” cream (for fast healing and not infecting) and then putting dressings on it. I’ve did this for 6 days and each day was easier than previous one and as swelling wend down I started to see more and more stitches after pulling the skin back.

I’ve had a doctor check-in visit on day 6 and he said that overall healing is going well. He laid me down and pulled skin all the way down (it was quite painful) then said that I did not clean as well as he hoped for, but there is no infection. He said to continue doing the same for another week, this time to tup cream and dressing only during the night. I asked him if it is OK that I still don’t see some stitches at the top part of the penis and he said that it is completely normal and they will observe and dissolve even like this.

I sat in a shallow warm bath with no soap for a week so. Very soothing and relaxing. I was too swollen to do anything else. It worked out ok in the end

But yes, that does help. I also used salt and then baby bath soap.

Haha. Yes I preferred it to the dip your dick in a mug version, but I did put some sea salt in the water

Yea, I went for the short, shallow bath also. A bit of salt or emollient cream helped.

Hey man. Dissolve 4 tsp salt in a glass of water, dip your big man in it and gently swill it around for a good 5 minutes. Don't rub it or use soap. Then let it air dry. The salt helps prevent infection and promotes healing 👍🏻

yeah I’ve been doing the salt water that help, the problem I have is getting it dry. I have no idea where the incision line is because of swollen skin. I’ve read that it takes 7-10 days for the scar to start healing. As mine is hidden under the skin I presume it won’t heal as it’s not getting any air to it. Every now and again I get a bit of blood from that area. So I’m struggling to see how this is healing. As there is still Louis getting trapped there blood saltwater etc.. I’m on day 8 post op and I can only see the scar around my frenulum everywhere else is hidden

took 12 weeks for mine to settle down. Red and swollen underneath.

I was so swollen that I couldn't see what was happening to mine either but it turned out ok in the end. Remember your healing time might be different from someone else

Hey, I’m on day 13 of post circumcision and every day is a little better. Keeping it clean with salted tepid water in a glass and leaving penis immersed for a few minutes, once or twice a day. Worst thing so far has been morning erections, which have caused a little bit of bleeding occasionally around the stitches on the frenulum.
