Got a circumcision
From day 2 after taking the wrap off I noticed a small open wound created by one of the sutures leading into the prepuce near the corona. as well as sutures with strange knot formations with smaller less noticeable wounds. One of the strange knot formations is where the open cut was. This didn’t really bother me. I was worried about a collection of dried blood leading left of the surgical sight about three or four sutures, as well as inhabiting the surgical site completely. There was a formation of a noticeable bump of black blood or scar tissue protruding from the surgical site, it felt off, it felt painful. It was very visible and was directly on a stitch. The two little stitch hairs were poking out. a couple days later my entire prepuce is swelled up and that initial cut by the corona is getting bigger. The stitches were poking through the puffed up prepuce in all sorts of directions and it was really swelled up and painful, it was also more of an orange yellow red than anywhere near my normal skin color. Soon after a small white bubble formed on the head of the black bump, between the stitch hairs, as well as a small amount of blood just around that small stitch. I went to my surgeon, doc said I was healing good.
A day or two later the red from the stitch spread streaks forming across the frenulum line and across the foreseen dried blood sutures. A couple more days later I was able to see the purple skin of the shaft underneath the surgical site and now gooey openings of yellow mixed with dried blood, which wasn’t even coming off but blending into the mess of the sutures. Stitches began falling out and coming apart around the dried blood area and surgical site.
A couple days later out of discernment I went to another doc. Doc said it was infected and gave me local and topical antibiotics.
I felt ill a couple days later.
I had went to get a referral from this new doctor to see someone
The referral would be a month away.
I decided to go back to the facility. I specifically told doc to send my referral to one place but for some reason they sent it back to my original doctors before putting it as a referral to the correct new hospital so I could get another opinion from a urologist. That is confusing that he went directly against my wishes.
The second urgent care doc said to put hydrogen peroxide on it and I would not be receiving another, quicker referral and that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I think doctor google might have hit his ego since he is only an urgent care doc. (Is this a red flag?)He prescribed ibuprofen and more topical antibiotic well after first making a mistake inputting pharmacy when I specifically told him what to put. I did the hydrogen peroxide treatment, maintained a balanced diet, most importantly fruit. I don’t think I’d have made it without fruit in all honesty, but back to the point. The peroxide treatment I did, mostly water and a bit of peroxide on a large gauze pad. After day one of treatment that corona area suture fell out and you could see the shaft, this location was bad because each time I needed to pull back the painful ring of prepuce to clean underneath the head of the penis, which had built up some smegma. Each time I did that I could feel it hurting and pulling away at the shaft skin which was supposed to be connected. The stitch next to it popped with a sharp zing like feeling within my penis a bit later.
Eventually, after three or four days,
the rest of the stitches around the site were pulled out due to the hydrogen peroxide treatment, leaving the surgical site completely open to heal. One good thing is that the swelling from the prepuce went down completely due to I guess a loosening and falling out of those sutures and a decrease in inflammation. Though, a day later the prepuce was a bit swollen, no where near as bad as before, but still needed drainage, oh and painful to touch still. There were still a couple of stitches left around I don’t even know but it was pretty itchy all around. there is now open shaft popping out by the corona with a little white string coming out of it. (cotton or anything?)
The surgical site got smaller as the days went by, but I decided that since these doctors weren’t going to cut it I had to go back to my original doctor surgeon. I scheduled but they said doc was doing surgery and I would be talking with another doc. This doc said I was healing and it would take a few weeks more. I have been healing for these past couple weeks and it’s like there are different layers to the penis. The surgical site scar looks and feels like raised skin and it is more on the hard side, I’ll have to wait some time more but I’ll be going in somewhere soon for another look. Pls let me know if you know what is going on because I don’t think it will heal the way they say. Doc says if issues persist then I would need to talk to a reconstructive surgeon about “foreskin things”. But also tried to scare my poor father by saying people would take your money no questions asked and that these procedures like skin grafts etc could cause more harm than good. Is this guy telling the truth? I wonder if I should go back and have a convo with my original surgeon after I have it checked by the place I was referred by the earlier doctors. Just to see if all of the points line up? Any and all advice is helpful, sorry for normal people reading this for explaining in medical terms but that’s how they gaslight you. It’s about a month and a half I’m still wearing wraps, I started with Vaseline, Neosporin, cold compress etc. After the opening I was told wet to drys would heal it better from the bottom up. If I don’t wear my wrap everything is super painful. I have trouble breathing and can’t move how I would want to. My biggest challenge right now is taking showers, they take over my usual time cleaning is hard, and my ball hairs poke into the damn surgical site, which is still painful to the touch.
