How to start to get seen and what to do

Well was going to do this a long time ago. But only just found someone.. but after a long time not doing nothing. Tbh just work a lot to kill time of. I need to have it done now. So I can have sex with my other half. What should I do, who to talk to and where to go from there . Thanks

If you have medical reasons for the surgery (or think you might), book an appointment with your GP to discuss referral to a local urologist (the specialist on the male genitals).Medical reasons can include phimosis, balanitis as well as recurrent fungal infections under the foreskin.

If you don't have a medical reason, there are private clinics or hospitals who can assist and your GP might be able to give you info on the ones in your area. You can contact them to find out the process and the costs.

BTW: the site advises that this online forum is designed to help men who face circumcision for medical reasons and issues they face along the way.

I need it. Due to skin will no longer go over the top and so can't do much. I don't know the other names. I'm just starting to talk about it.

The GP will confirm what your problem is and help you get it sorted after a quick examination. Just lie back and think of England (Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland!). They've seen it all before so don't be worried.And don't be surprised if the doc recommends another fix instead of circumcision. There can sometimes be other options.

The sooner you see your GP, the sooner you will get your care plan sorted. Make sure you explain the problems you're having and ask for a male doctor if you'd prefer that. You'll be pleased once you know what the problem is and how the doctors can help.

U say the skin will no longer go over the top. Does the skin still move freely ?

If it is tight and difficult to move , you may need intervention sooner. If the skin is stuck under the head go see Doc' asap.

Hello mate, my phimosis started about 18 months ago, after looking online to see what it was, I went to my gp who referred me to the urology dept at the hospital, I've had the urology confirmation letter, and now I'm just waiting for an appointment. Hope this helps

Thank you.. I will be going down on Thursday next week to ask the doctor.. this is new to me. Been worried about it for a long time. Didn't know what to do or who to ask.

Best of luck. As timthemoth said they've seen it all before,the good, the bad and the ugly.Best to get a view from a doc what the situation is rather than worry.

Hi. I was the same for 18 months. Went to my doctor on Tuesday and had the operation on Thursday. That's how serious it was for me. It's a relief to be done. Can pee again probably. Bit sore now but it ll be worth it.
