Frenulum after circumcision

Hello,

I had a circumcision done about 2 weeks back. Healing is under process and pretty much on track .

But the frenulum is still intact , I didn't find anything online clearly as to what happens to frenulum after circumcision.

I read that after circumcision either there is partial frenulum left or none left. I'm worried if I'm not supposed to be having the complete frenulum. Haven't consulted the surgeon yet but will do soon . Till then if anybody faced this or know something about this please help.

I think I have it still intact, there definitely a stretch of skin underneath joining the gland to the shaft. I’m 2 months post op and it still feels very tight and sore after masturbating. Not sure if this loosens up with healing.

I need to have a revision done in 4 weeks so I’m wonder if I should mention this to the surgeon as it is really off putting.

You definitely should mention I think, I will ask my surgeon definitely in my next meeting. Ideally they should have figured out that there may be a problem with it if there can be

My op is next Tuesday. The pain seems to have eased over the weeks thankfully.

I had problems with occasional frenulum painful tearing after sex. Also, because of a tight, itchy foreskin, I had to seek circumcision. With both foreskin frenulum removed my life is the best ever.

Hi , I had a circumcision back in October 22’ , they left my frenulum intact & to be honest it hasn’t bothered me . I was surprised at first after I removed the bandage as I thought the same , circumcision means taking it all away. They’ve removed my foreskin , phimosis has gone , there was never a problem with the frenulum but they never asked if I wanted it kept or not . They gave me a low medium tight cut , it looks and feels a lot better than it ever did .
