I had circumcision 9 days ago. The cut seems to have healed well for the most part except at two places where blood came out on day 2. Right behind the stitch where the blood came out, there is a huge swelling on the shaft. It's been there since day 2 and hasn't seen any improvement in size. It's sore and very painful to touch. I saw the dr two days ago and was told to keep it clean and be patient that it will be gone in few weeks. Has anyone experienced swelling on the shaft where you had bleeding from the stitch.
I think it's some sort of infection the body was reacting to or blood pooled up at that spot. I've been taking Ibuprofen and antibiotic to keep my pain down.
Also the stitches are like wires with sharp ends. It stabs the back of the glans causing sever pain. I want to cut the ends but worried I will mess up the stitches.

Hey mate. It’s hard to understand what you mean - maybe a pic could help? I’m 17 days in. Most of the shaft bruising and swelling has gone, but have a hard scar line where the stitches are / were which I’m told takes months to soften or reduce if it do dies at all. If your doc has checked it over, Then maybe it’s a case of patience.
I had 15 stitches which have been doing my head in since about day 7 or 8 and completely get you comments about pain. One pulled out with the gauze day 2, then since day 14 I have been taking 1 or 2 out a day - they didn’t seem to be breaking down at all, so been working on them in in the shower, I’ve worked some loose and simply and gently pulled them out (about 1/2 of them are now out) Particularly the ones running my glands causing super discomfort.
I’ve taken none out at the top as yet and left 2 at my frenulum ( my fren, but was removed 10 years ago)
I wouldn’t suggest you don’t do anything till you’ve had a couple of days without bleeding, swelling or bruising. things are still healing inside and outside - and everyone is different, I know it’s hard, but a lot of people have told me it’s about patience (see my post)
I’m confident that we will all come to get used to our new dicks and enjoy them when the time is right. Good luck mate.
