Hi guys, sorry to keep posting, I have been back twice to the hospital I had my circumcision at and they have said everything is fine?
2 days ago I woke up with about a tablespoon of blood in my underwear, my penis head was full of blood and there is a hard lumpy ring underneath my leftover foreskin, just below the penis head.
I now have this creamy yellow stuff oozing out but they have said it isn't infection?
It smells really bad and is getting worse.
Did anyone else experience this? Is it just the fluid that helps you heal or does this look like infection?
Thanks

Hey SuperMario, sorry about this. Must be uncomfortable, especially now it looks like it's swelling. This is usually a sign of infection, the swelling is supposed to go down. I am no GP but I think you need to get the discharge swabbed for a test. The discharge isn't supposed to smell, get that checked and start on Antibiotics as soon as possible if it's an infection. It will heal, stay strong brother.
Thanks, I went to get a second opinion at my GP out of hours service and it turned out to be an infection. Got antibiotics now and hopefully that will resolve things 👍🏼
Lump/s are normal, their are ur veins that had to be shorten and closed up with biopolar diathermy.
From pics ur wound looks ok, yellow discharge is normal there is no redness around I assume you do not feel any extra pain nor u have temperature. (If you do see doctor)
Have a shower every day and after shower, walk around house without pants for about 30 mins and in the mean time grab a cup, boil hot water, pour to the cup and add 2 small spoons of salt. Wait for the water to cool down little bit and then dip ur d for 10/15 min. after that tap dry ur d and again go about 30 mins with no pants.
Once dry apply some vaseline.
If u are still little bit worried you can buy medical grade honey ointment and mix that between vaseline application.
Thanks, I don't think smelly yellow discharge is normal and I went to get a second opinion at my GP out of hours service. it turned out to be an infection.
Do you put the vaseline directly in the wound? Won't that just aggravate the infection even more?
This is so stressful, it's been 2 weeks and I really thought things would have started to get easier by now 😣
Check my posts, I had a bit where it was oozing(looks clean cos all pictures were done after shower) and I was applying vaseline straight into that wound of mine.
No. If you ever choose medical honey ointment, do not mix it with petroleum jelly. Put non-adherent dressing instead or paraffin gauze dressing and normal roller gauze.
I didn't meant literally to mix medical honey with vaseline.
I am just talking out of my own experience here. Honey is very sticky and after application it was making my wound hard. So after 4/5hours I was taking off my gauze and bandage. I then applied some vaseline to soften the skin and wound. It worked for me.
Ok. It's not ideal to open the gauze/bandage after few hours post wound care. Let it heal, if there is no urine involved in. Wound care once a day or less is preferred, if use medical honey ointment and there is not much discharge.
Well I had to change my due to urine in gauze and the ointments being "washed out" by it. If I could go all day without changing I would. But looking at this guy's d and the low cut he had, he would had the same problem with wet gauze and bandage.
Thanks guys, so even though I went back to the hospital TWICE and they said everything is okay, they were actually wrong!
I went to my GP out of hours service tonight and it turns out I have an infection 😣
They have given me antibiotics.
Kind of dissapointing when I have been careful, kept clean, salt baths, been back to hospital twice and now this, it is just making me think this nightmare will never end and I am sick of worrying about it all.
Anyway, I am glad I got a second opinion and hopefully this will be the end of my troubles and it can start healing properly 🙏🏻
The lumps and some discharge are normal, but the foul smelling discharge is NOT. If the area is hot that would indicate an infection. Definitely see your doctor and get on antibiotics. Infection is rare after adult circumcision but it can be cleared up.
