Circumcision swelling

Hi, I've had my circumcision 5 days ago and I was wondering if it was normal to have not much swelling? I got a loose cut and moderate (not too high/not too low cut). I was prepared for big swelling as I saw on this forum, but yeah I do have swelling but way less....

I think the extreme swelling is very often with high and tight cuts where a large amount of highly sensitive inner skin is exposed. Certainly I had very little swelling when I had my (low and tight) circ revision.

Idk what type i had. My Dr kept indicating it was a Normal Circumcision with that being said I also didn't have major swelling. The first few days was a little swollen but sensitive by the stitches area. The only real swollen area i had was where my frenulum was removed. I healed nicely in 3 weeks (frenulum still healing and it will take time I'm being told). Just keep taking care of your circumcision and put Vaseline often and or antibiotic cream. This will continue to heal it sooner.

Yeah, my doctor kept saying " he's being conservative"... well I asked him to keep as much inner skin as possible. I hope he listened to me 😅
