How am I healing?

Hi all,

I am currently 32 days in since my operation and I am not sure what to make of my healing. I still have 4 stitches on the dorsal side and there are some lumps you can see just below the incision line. They are quite sore at the touch - what are they?

Also, I had severe phimosis so didn’t have any say in the cut style. Is this a low and tight cut? Erections are quite painful and there is some downward bending I didn’t have before.

Finally, apologies if this a stupid question by my dorsal vein used to run up my entire shaft, it now only appears halfway, why is that? Should I be concerned by this? I am feeling very anxious at the moment at the possibility of length loss.

By any chance did you have any lumps under the shaft skin? That are super hard when touched?

Yessir, I have them right beneath the incision line on the shaft. They are a bit sore on the touch and feel like hard balls/lumps.

Mine are not under the incision but a little bit below the incision under the shaft skin. Yeah it feel like a hard lump/ball doesn’t hurt buts it’s a bit sensitive to the touch? I just got my circumcision 5 days ago. How are you healing other wise?

Hey, sorry if I wasn’t clear mine are also on the shaft, just under the incision line they’re in the middle for me and they’re uncomfortable.

You’re still very early so I wouldn’t worry too much, they do get smaller over time. My healing has been a little slower than some other people’s but it’s different for everyone.

Do your full size come back? Or do you feel like you lost a little length because of the tight skin?

At the moment I am definitely an inch or so smaller than I should be but a lot of users on here say this can take weeks and months. It’s definitely grown a bit since the first couple of weeks - I think the skin needs time to stretch as it heals.

Yea that’s what I read on here too. I have my appointment with my urologist next week and will ask all the questions I can, so if there are any questions you or anyone else who sees this that wants me to ask let me know. But I’m regard to size I feel like I might have lost some. For the me most difficult has been the erections, they hurt. But I’m glad that the hard lumps are just part of the normal process.

Hey mate, what did the doc say in terms of loss of size and the tightness? Did he say it will come back? I am currently six weeks in and can also see that I have lost an inch. So frustrating.

I think it’s looking really good. I had the same issue and I would dipped my penis in warm water with salt about twice a day. That helped a lot

Hi Man, if you still have stitches I'd have them removed as they have done the job and could leave some stitch tunnels. You could have some bumps and lumps for some time as the skin heals underneath and where the vains were cut they should disappear in time. once the wound is healed you could use some bio oil to massage the skin and soften any lumps and to help stretch the skin as your erections are probably have a tight feeling. your cut is probably a in-between low and high.
