Glans penis sliced off

Hi everyone. I have a problem that I hope someone will help with. I was circumcised a year and a half ago, where the surgeon sliced off all, and I do mean All, the skin on my Glans penis. It is still not healed. I bleed constantly and, of course, hurts. Will the skin ever come back to the head of my penis? What can I do to get the skin to reform there. I have been back to see the boss of the surgeon. He said it will take a long time to heal. I think he was only covering up for his surgeon. It's a year and a half now and looks like it will be another year and a half before I see any improvement. It was an issue that was caused by the Hospital, where they inserted a plastic tube into my bladder because I could not urinate. Days later, they removed the tube and I found a cut on my foreskin, which I did nothing about, so it developed into Balanitis. They eventually had to circumcise and left me with the problem described above. Anyone has any idea which could make my skin regrow there, lease? Kind regards. C

I'm so very sorry to hear what you have been through. I cannot imagine what the sensitivity must be like. How do you go to work or function with that pain. It must be highly sensitive. I'm sorry hearing this. Can you possibly get an appointment with a Urologist separate from that hospital/practice to get another unbiased opinion. That would be why next step as that does not sound normal to me. Oh boy. I really feel for you deeply. I wish I could cheer you up. Just know you have a friend here from the U.S.

Go to a different hospital. Get a second opinion. You can’t go on like this. Are you in 🇬🇧 or 🇺🇸?

Sue the hell out of him,if u are able to. are you? idk the laws in u.k.

sue him. that hurts, im sorry for you. foreskin will never grow back BUT, you can try foreskin restoration! many men doesn't know what it is. so you are lucky now. you can look it up for r/foreskin_restoration on reddit.

Thanks man for your answer. I unfortunately can't do a foreskin restoration, as the area where the glans meet the rest of the foreskin is cut and won't heal. thanks anyway. C

Hi Conhelft - I also can only sympathise with your situation. Obviously it was by accident but it sounds as if your surgeon made a serious mistake with your procedure. Perhaps there is a remedy to fix the 'damage'? - but I also wonder if you shouldn't make 'soundings' toward the hospital regarding suing them for damages as if I read your story correctly you are now disfigured and unable to have or enjoy normal relationship activity? Good luck, keep us informed or your progress. I'm from the Kent coast in southern England by the way. 👍

Difficult to imagine how the doctor managed to amputate the mucosal tissue from your glans, when he was only supposed to amputate part of your foreskin ... about the only thing I can suggest is transplanting mucosal tissue from some other part of your body ... such as mucosal tissue inside your mouth. Several years ago another fellow from GB had to have the lining of his urethra replaced ... and they used tissue from inside his cheeks.

A Dermatologist and a plastic surgeon would, I think, be more likely to have suggestions rather than another urologist?

Sounds like you got a big lawsuit on your hands brother there’s absolutely no reason for anyone to cut your gland off of the head of your penis unless there was may be cancer or something like that but you would’ve known what was going on so you definitely need to get a second opinion and a lawyer!
