Taking too long to recover after circumcision and what to put on scars to help them

Hello, people, please help. I had a circumcision in mid August of 2021 (4 months and 2 weeks ago) due to phimosis. Only in the last week of September (5 weeks after operation) I was able to walk outside somewhat fine. It was hurting a lot in the beginning but by last week of October I was pretty good. That was also the time when all of my stitches completely fell out (~8 weeks after surgery). I hadn't put any kind of oil or anything else to smoothen out the scars because I didn't know I had to. It has now been 4 months and 2 weeks since surgery, and my scars are still there. Erections are still pretty painful for me and masturbation ends up in a strong feeling of burning, irritation, and swelling on the glans. It goes away in about 2-3 days if I do not touch my penis at all during that time (can't even walk). If I do walk, then the burning, irritation and pain do not go away for multiple days, and walking in general is very uncomfortable and painful. Why is that? Is the issue the scars, and if so, what should I put on them to smoothen them out? I was prescribed triple antifungal cream but I have doubts since it is antifungal and may cause some irritation, while people here have seemingly had a lot of appreciation for bio oil. Any suggestions?

Things worth mentioning:

First masturbation time was 7 weeks after surgery, but I had many prolonged erections before that

Lube does not help in reducing the pain, however, wet dreams almost don't hurt at all

Now if I have many long erections my penis also starts burning and feeling irritated

On the right side of the penis, the scars are noticeably smaller and had smoothed out somehow better than on the left side, however on the right side, right under the scars some black spots started appearing, the same size as the scars. Should I be worried?

I'd start by using the cream you were prescribed. Unfortunately, the longer you leave stitches in the more scarring there will be and 8 weeks is a very long time. Theres always scarring with a circumcision but sounds like yours is more than normal?

I didn't know that about the longer the stitches are in, the more scarring there will be, thanks. I'm starting to use virgin coconut oil on my scar line, I have too many doubts about the cream my doc prescribed me. After all, a strong anti fungal cream wouldn't moisturize my skin, which, as I understand is the main thing needed to smoothen out the scars. Doesn't have vitamin E in it either.Do you have any experience with coconut oil?

My doctor recommended Stratamed gel to me,”It’s a self-drying gel that forms a full contact wound dressing to speed up the healing process and minimise abnormal scaring. Stratamed is the first film-forming silicone wound dressing for use on open wounds and compromised skin. Stratamed improves the visible outcome of treatment and provides symptomatic relief.” I can’t post the link here so just google it,it’s an over the counter product and it’s been very helpful in my case,it might be worth a look.
