Been 2 weeks since my circumcision. I have what looks like a blister that is painful on the head of my penis. Hurts to laydown, walk, etc. Is this from fabric rubbing on my penis after being clipped? Will it go away? What can I do to get rid of it?
It is not an STD...been married for 27 years and with no one else..me or my wife.

My Doctor is away until early next week. I have read and my sister is a nurse and said it may be from the fabric rubbing as it is all knew. Just checking to see if anyone else had this issue. It is not a serious issue just annoying
I wouldn’t worry about it,after 18 days the head of my penis suddenly got blisters and blood blisters and looked like something out of a horror movie…I shat myself and sent pics to my surgeon at 6.30am on Sunday morning and he said that it’s an absolutely normal part of the healing process,it’s either friction from your underwear or the glans is drying out and keratinising and this can cause blisters etc,I’d suggest gauze with a good thick layer of Vaseline on it wrapped around the top of the shaft and head of your penis, this will help loads, tight supportive underwear that keeps the penis upright towards your belly will also help….he said it can get pretty ugly as it heals but it’s temporary.
Hi that can happen some guys it's the glans readjusting and drying out the skin will probably start to peel as well. Keep everything clean and I'd perfer dry wash with some salted water in a small bowl lukewarm and while you have any blisters keep covered in snug underwear.
