I am in Korea and have been hearing different things from several different urologists that I have been to. I was hoping someone here could provide me with some insight on my situation.
My concern is regarding the corona of my penis glans which looks a bit swollen, purplish, and hurts when I touch it. FYI, I am uncircumcised and have always had a tight foreskin (phimosis). I have been trying to pull back my foreskin, and now it pulls back easier than before but still not as easily (won't pull back automatically when i have an erection).
Would anyone know what could possibly be the cause of my swollen corona of the glans? Also aside from the corona, my glans also hurt when I touch them. One of the urologists said the reason for the swelling was a tight foreskin and that I would need to thus be circumcised. Thank you very much.

The urologists here in Korea seem to all be very quick to suggest circumcision, but from what I've read on health sites online, they say that circumcision is usually for extreme cases...
