Has anyone had dissolvable stitches manually removed from a circumcision wound? And if so, was it painful?

You would normally just have the ends that stick out cut off by your doctor or nurse. That does not hurt.

Hey Osidge did you have problems with the glands being hypersensitive? And if so what’s you do to help that?

Hypersensitivity is reasonably common. Some guys go fir wrapping it up but others take the bull by the horns and leave it to experience everything it will eventually have to experience. It is a matter of personal choice to get the discomfort over with or tread softly softly.

Yea I heard I should massage through the pain a couple times a day to get used to it but man I could barely walk. I just got my circumcision done two days ago should I leave it wrapped and wait for the stitches to heal up and stuff and then worry about sensitivity? Or do I leave it unwrapped?

Also I’ve been wrapping it in ice cold wet gauzes do you think that’s okay?

You should be following the post-op instructions of your surgeon.
