5th day circumcised after the surgery

my circumcised penis is still swelling I'm about 5 days after the surgery,is it normal?Need an immediate response 🤗

Post-operative swelling is quite normal after circumcision.

It took me at least a week to start noticing the swelling to start reducing. It took me 2 weeks to start feeling a bit better about the whole situation. I dressed my penis for nearly 3 weeks until it started looking and feeling somewhat normal again. 5 days after procedure is still early days will still be very swollen, sore and even bleed. Your still in what I called the worst phase. 10 - 14 days you will start to notice improvements. 3-4 weeks you will start to be able to wear boxers etc without dressing. It can take 6 weeks for all the initial pain and swelling to go. But takes months for the wound and some.reduced swelling to completely go.away.

I was told not to dress it more than 2-3 days. Thats because the penis needs fresh air to heal. But ive noticed there is different answers to a lot of questions regarding circumsision, so I dont know whats right.

Same here but tbh. The dressing was for my own peace of mind. The worst part was taking the first dressing off. 3 or 4 days after the procedure. Taking it off in the bath seeing all stitched swollen and bloody penis. I hated it. Thats 1 reason why I dressed it so much. And mine became infected also why I dressed it for so long. Yeah you get mixed responses sometimes.
