Its been a month, I tried having sex with my girlfriend yesterday and couldn’t even get the condom on or stay erect due to the head being too sensitive.
I feel bad for putting my girlfriend through this and my confidence is probably at an all time low.
I’m afraid this wont go away any time soon and I am afraid she will end up leaving me eventually if it doesn’t.
I regret getting the procedure done

it will take time and a lot of patience and understanding from your partner. your body has changed and pleasure will change slightly. you might want to take baby steps in self satisfaction. you both can experiment with the changes and this should be a gentle and interesting journey. all the best
The often given advice on here is to wait 6 to 8 weeks to allow fir both sensitivity to get less but also to allow for proper internal healing. It is not advisable to have seen too early.
So sorry to hear your issues. If you do have depression as a result please seek help. I have had similar post frenuloplasty. Some men are fine post surgery- many are not. If you're not theres no shame in asking for help. Your GP can refer you for counselling/psychosexual counselling - a service who can offer you loads of support for sexually related anxiety, ruminations and worry. The waiting lists for NHS psychosexual counsellers aren't massive. Remember, recovery takes time physically and emotionally, and for some its a massive adjustment. Be kind to yourself and put yourself where the help is.
