How was your Experience at the time of stiches removal... is it painful ?

My stitches all desolved on their own. They started disappearing after three weeks. I noticed it mostly after I showered!

Were that dissolving stitches ? What should I do ? Doctor told me to Visit after 10 -12 days to remove the stitches. But my stitches are not automatically dissolving stitches.

You should always follow your doctor’s instructions! Mine were dissolvable stitches and did not need to visit the doctor to get them removed! Good luck!

Actually, the stich they used was the one which stays in the skin,so i dont have to go for removal

But i also think that all will be well since it will be almost healing completely 😊,plus if you feel pain, you'll be given some Anastasia, soon bro,all will be well.

How long did you keep it wrapped?

Jurrasic profile image

I wrapt it for two days then the bandage fell,i asked the doctor to put another one but he told me it ain't a must,he said i should just leave it alone, and after some days it will be dry and the sensitivity will reduce, ounce dry i can now apply the medication he gave me

It will take time to heal-give it time and I wish you the best-let stitch’s fall out if they are dissolvable type. Bathe and keep clean and dry-worked for me years ago-needed it medically-no regrets. You will do well-

Thanks bro...

Thank You for post-time will heal-you will see changes. Needed circumcision medically. No regrets

But my stitches are not which will dissolve itself...Dr told me to come to the clinic to remove it after 10 - 12 days...

in reply toDpatil9

Some use not dissolvable, they can be stronger to prevent wound opening a bit. Dr’s choice. He/She will remove. Suture “holes” will take months or longer depending on healing. Then you will not see them. Circumcision scar will “tighten” a bit, as a different and stronger circumcision scar develops. Glans may change color. That is also normal as keratinization starts for anyone circumcised-best wishes and heath

Thank you Very Much Bro... I was thinking that why dr chosen non dissolvable stitches for me though there is dissolving stitches available.

Everyone need support at some time. For men this is private, personal. But I think I can say all men are concerned about this personal surgery. Pros and cons to circumcision but for me medically needed. For whatever reason you chose, I think you will be very satisfied after fully healed-again quick healing and good heath

Ya true. I did it due to phymosis. Hope things will be better as you said. Thanks mate once again for your msg

in reply toDpatil9

They will. You will just have to give it time. I had really redundant foreskin and pain swelling being uncircumcised. It was a relief. Some may disagree but my sex life improved as will yours. Thank You for sharing-I think you will be privately surprised-best wishes and heath

Ya sure... I 👌🏻🙏🙏

in reply toDpatil9

They will, just wait. Time will show you. Personally I think for a medical reason you did what I did. Full healing takes months or longer as a new scar sets tightly
