3 weeks after Circumcision wound opened underneath the head of the penis

Hi ive got my circumcision done 3 weeks back due to erection in the night wound has been opened underneath the head of the penis but there is no pain, how ever the would looks open

Is it something to worry or is it gonna take long time to heal???

An open wound may slow down a bit the healing process. That area will heal by secondary intention. Just wash the wound once a day > dry > apply petroleum jelly > cover with a gauze > repeat until it is healed.

Sorry, but I'm not theistic person. Healing is a process. There is no magic ointment or medicine for faster healing. When the wound is healed shut again, take it easy with your spouse. Use a condom and lots of lube.

I just wonder why you'd like to use a silver colloid ointment. Do you have an infection on it? If not. Petroleum jelly or medical honey ointment is enough for moisturizing wound with a minimal fluid discharge.

If we talk about when the incision line is healed shut. It shouldn't take more than six weeks. In deeper tissue level may take more time to heal properly. Swelling can take 3-18 months.

Have you already talk with your local healthcare professional about your worries?

Here in Europe you can not just hop in grocery store and buy antibiotics without prescription and swab test first.
