I just had my circumcision on Sept 17. Everything was going ok until 4am. I started to bleed excessively from the surgical wound. My mom called the doctor and was dismissive and told her to tell me to put pressure on it and to call back at 8:30 for an appt. Well after over an hour of bleeding I went to the ER. The ER put some Surgical gauze with stem cell to stop the bleeding . He said that the surgical site was oozing blood and that would stop it. He didnt say I needed stitches . I see the Urologist tomorrow. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone? At one point it was getting real scared

Bleeding is quite common from the areas around the stitches. But it should be mostly oozing blood and not bleeding heavily. Also, this should get stopped within first 7-8 days of the surgery.
I am presently facing the oozing blood issue from one particular spot time to time; I am into 7th day of my surgery. The docs have said nothing to worry. Also, a specialist suggested me to apply Neosporin ointment in the area. You may try that.
Remember warm salt baths to clean the wound. I had mines on sept 8 the erections were rough. I use A&D ointment yep the stuff babies use it works wonders. Went to the doc on the 23rd she said I no longer had to come back she was amazed how fast it healed just still swelling. she was talking about if I have sex use a condom I was like woah. I'm 32 BTW
