Balanitis for 3 months

I’ve been dealing with a fungal infection / Balanitis for the past 3 months 1/2. It started when I had smegma underneath my foreskin built up that caused redness. I was prescribed Ketoconazole and Desitin which got rid of the infection in 3 weeks. I was dealing with a bit of tip issues towards the end so I continued using Ketoconazole it would help but it was causing Erectile Dysfunction so I went to a Urologist and he gave me a Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream for the swelling on my tip. Nystatin would burn but when I tried to go back to Ketoconazole it made things worse so I stayed with Nystatin and things were ok but my tip was even more swollen. I tried to use Desitin again and it made things worse. So I continued using Nystatin my penis was feeling a bit better. I would also drink a natural antifungal tea and Eat an anti candida Diet. I started developing issues urinating though because my tip was still swollen. So I recently decided to use Ketoconazole again on my penis tip to deswell it while putting Nystatin on the rest of my penis (underneath my foreskin) and now my Tip is on fire, numb and it burns and stings when I urinate. The rest of my penis is also numb for some reason and Nystatin is no longer helping me I feel inflammation numbness tingling and burning all under my foreskin and tip, it’s been 5 days since I felt like this because it was 5 days ago that I reput Ketoconazole in my tip. I also tried putting coconut oil while in the shower to get rid of the burning it did not work and using soap to wash off the coconut oil aggravated my situation.

What should I do I’m thinking of going natural and using yogurt, or coconut oil mixed with tea tree oil instead? Maybe Aloe Vera. Also I was thinking of buying an all natural Tea Tree oil Soap from Thursday Plantation? I’ve been washing with just water and it was helping but now it stings when water hits my penis.

I’m just bummed because I was almost done with this infection and I reggravated it by putting Ketoconazole. It was mainly the swelling that I wanted to get rid of since Ketoconazole worked so well the first time. Should I just stop using Nystatin for a few days?

I’d gladly appreciate anyone’s response.

Smegma itself doesn't cause fungal infections. What else could have initially triggered it?

Well to be honest I hadn’t cleaned under my foreskin for a few days that’s why I believe it was fungal I was itchy and when I pulled my foreskin back I removed the smegma and my penis was bright red. So the balanitis started from lack of hygiene under my foreskin. I now clean under my foreskin every morning and at night before going to sleep.

That is actually a rare event among intact males. For example, many boys cannot retract before puberty, yet have no issues. I think there's something else working in the background. The use of broad spectrum antibiotics often cause such outbreaks, more often in women, but often in men. Why did you change your diet?

I’m not sure I wasn’t using antibiotics before my outbreak I really believe it was the smegma because my penis was only red in the areas where the smegma formed. Also I changed my diet because I read online that it’s best not to feed the yeast. So I cut down on sugar and I’m mainly eating grilled chicken with brown rices vegetables and salad. I also have incorporated probiotics to my diet along with eating yogurt. The reason why is because I have an anti fungal tea every night before going to sleep. It’s made up of Ginger, Lemon, Apple Cider Vinegar, Tumeric and Cinnamon. I’m drinking this to kill the yeast but I know these are also potent natural antibiotics so I have one probiotic a day. All was going well minus the difficulty urinating issues and swelling on my tip but now after applying Ketoconazole on my tip my penis feels much worse. Im thinking of going natural now and ditching the creams but I’m not sure what I should do, I’m not sure if I should go to another Urologist or Dermatologist. Or just use natural remedies.
