Circumcision gauze dressing

Best gauze/dressing to use?? Dont have much here and aint been out in ages so just been using ‘mepore dressing’ but this isnt great as to stick it to the area where the bleeding is would need it to stick to the rest of the glans which makes me cringe thinking about it! Help

Mepore is fine, but you may need to spread petroleum jelly on to incision line to avoid trapping to wound. And glue on 'Mepore' is quite difficult to loosen on glans.

I did use 'Melolin' dressing when there was more discharge on wound. Later 'Jelonet' paraffin gauze with 'Coban' self-adherent (roll) bandage. 'Micropore' skin tape is easier to remove on shaft skin and glans than 'Mepore'.

When using the gauze did you then wrap a bandage type thing around it or just keep the gauze on alone? Also do you sleep with it on

'Melolin' absorbent dressing needs to be attached with a strips of skin tape and/or put some roll bandage on it.

If you try to follow so called moist wound care routine, you'll keep bandage on until the wound is healed and there is no moist area or discharge anymore.
