Paraphimosis? Or something else

Hi all, first time here but basically I think I have paraphimosis but I’m not quite sure if it is? My foreskin can’t cover the glans of my penis anymore when it’s flaccid but I can stretch it over to cover it momentarily. I don’t have any pain or signs of swollening so I’m not sure what this is. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Paraphimosis is the condition in which the foreskin is able to be retracted behind the glans when flaccid but then clamps down into the coronal sulcus and cannot subsequently be replaced over the glans.

You simply appear to have a short foreskin.

Thank you for the timely reply! Yes I do think it’s short foreskin but it happened so sudden. My penis has been covered by skin my whole life so this comes as odd to me

Any changes that happen suddenly like that should be investigated by a doctor. The foreskin does not usually spontaneously shrink.

Ah, my bad, I forgot to mention - it did not spontaneously shrink overnight. My gf was giving me oral sex the night before and when she was done my penis basically started being retracted even in its flaccid state. This did happen before as well, but never for extended periods of time.

You still need to find out why it is happening. Oral sex does not usually produce a shrinkage of foreskin.

Basically in my opinion , the skin might have made an unfold while retracted and even when you try to even it out , doesn't cover you completely as the length contributed by the fold is stuck behind and under . Next time you can just use a moisturiser and slowly try to grasp the end free round margin of your foreskin and ease it out over the glans. Don't continue if it hurts or is uncomfortable . Thanks! All I was hoping for was it not to be an emergency requiring a trip to the ER haha. So I take it that it could be resolved by myself at home?
