Stitches still holding
If you have so called dissolvable stitches, they will dissolve under your skin. The both ends will drop off by itselves within next few weeks. If your incision line is already healed you may ask a medical professional or nurse remove them too.
I also have some stitches between the 3rd and 4th week mark, but some of them feel loose but sore
Mine fell off around 5 weeks. Be patient and don't rush anything. Everyone helps differently
I'm a little bit past 2 weeks myself with dissolvable stitches. My doctor removed the knots at my 2 week appointment and pulled a considerable bit of them out. Been cleaning around it and periodically snag one that will have dissolved on one side, but not the other. Unable to remove and don't have small enough scissors to snip off the loose bit. It's not much, so I've been continuing to use petroleum jelly on the scar line and hoping that the other side will dissolved enough to come out when I take a shower or are cleaning/drying it. Let them come out naturally. If not dissolvable, I would contact your doctor to help remove them.
