Will I have frenulum problems once I start my sexual life?

Today I read about a case where a man teared his foreskin frenulum apart while having sex. As he described, he was very scared and suffered a lot (there was a lot of bleeding).

My question is if this happens to everyone that's not circumcised or if it's possible that this won't happen if I'm very careful once I start my sexual life

Thanks !

The tearing of the frenulum does not happen to all uncircumcised men.

The frenulum will usually only be torn during sexual activity if it is too short and tight (a condition called frenulum breve).

If your frenulum is not interfering with the full, free and painless retraction of your foreskin when erect then it is unlikely to tear during sex unless you are extremely rough or indulge in unusual forms of sexual play.

I suspect the vast majority of uncircumcised men go through life without a frenulum tear. Don’t worry too much about it.

There’s an incredibly small chance indeed unless you go too rough!

Very unlikely. As part of regular shower, if you're able to retract and clean properly, you have nothing to worry about.

Hi batman0802 I once did this when I was a lot younger at it hurt he did repair him self but from then on I always use lube my jelly or coconut oil is good for sexmassage masterbation take care

It is not common. It seems that way because those to whom it happens tend to talk about it.

I was uncircumcised and can assure you that tearing as you describe does not affect everyone. There's different considerations when someone says they tore their frenulum, perhaps sex was "rough" amongst a variety of other reasons why a frenulum may tear.

If you're able to pull your foreskin back freely and without issue and able to presently maintain an erection without pain and/or discomfort--short of me examining your gear--you should be okay. Don't over think it. During intercourse, when that occurs, if pain occurs for whatever reason then it might be time to review things.

Just my non-medical opinion.
