Does adult circumcision affect your libido because your glans is no longer sensitive?

Adult Circumcision
Nope it doesn't . There is no co relation between your libido and circumcision as even though your glans maybe desensitized , libido is based on hormones and mood . Hope this helped !
Thanks bro.i have been wondering whether it can affect one sexual performance.i read somewhere online that it can affect your erection.
Probably one of the worse things you can do is overthink what may or may not be.
This is mainly why I honestly believe people should get circumcised only if they have indications like phimosis , recurrent infections etc. The best judge here is always a doc . Libido wise it won't be affected but there aren't much studies on how circumcision affects erections and orgasms per say so the best person to get it clarified with would be your doc.
It has to do with sensation.it feels desensitized and for the past few days my penis has rarely erected but i haven’t had sex yet.I am in my 31st day after circumcision op.
Desensitized means that the penis undergoes a process of keratinization where it becomes less sensitive to touch and yes touching against clothes and other stuff won't be that sensitive like before. This usually benefits people with hypersensitivity and phimosis type people who undergo circumcision and for others with indications . But physiologically the nerve endings at the glans kind of tune out but doesn't mean they won't work so you will still feel everything and also during sex .
About sex drive , since there is no co relation between libido and circumscision I stick with my answer that there isn't going to be much difference. This is only in my opinion .
Hope this helps !
Sorry I replied above .
All guys do not overthink things. Some just get on with whatever presents at the time and others feel the need to plan for things that might never happen. The latter is a psychological trait that can make things difficult.
That is very true cross the bridge when you get to it keep safe
Yes this is true. It isn't that awkward and desensitisation occurs at different rates for others and mainly by contact . Mine took around 2-3 weeks to be much better .
No as in I answered it above because I accidentally posted just your tag before. So I deleted it and replied above for which you already have replied .
Actually no , many people still do have sensitivity after the surgery and some don't. Some end up liking it and some don't . This is why Hidden pointed out that overthinking might not help actually. At the end of the day , your body reacts as it would and everyone is different .
It does not bother me that people ask questions. Why would you say that?
No it as nothing to do with your circumcision I lost sensation but after 6 months it is back sex and masterbation is better and lasts longer and it's more intense so me and many more it's a win win take care
Nice one Fred, and very positive for us guys who may need circumcision. I've kept my foreskin held back over the past 3 months after being diagnosed with LS. I find it very comfortable and forget it's exposed most of the time. Did you have a full "circ" including inner foreskin and frenulum... what cut did you have..?
Hi I had low and loose and I love it I had,to have it done because of phimosis and ballantis full circ with frenulum removed lost sensation but it's all back and fully operational I had it done on nhs on 10/12/19 he does still get dry but I use a olive oil with vitemam e moisturiser which is very good stuff from Tesco £2.50 and for sex masterbation and massage I use coconut oil very good stuff it was the best thing I ever did the operation and, recovery was easy compared to what I went through with infections and soreness and pain was off the scale keep safe
How come you had a low and loose for balanitis? Wouldn't high and tight be better? Good to hear you are happy at least.
Hi to be honest I was not asked had it done on nhs south yourshire they just said you will be having a full circumcision removal but I am happy with the result take care
@guitar22 How do you keep it held back? When flaccid my foreskin almost completely covers the glans. I can pull it back. But it won’t stay.
Hi, I just pull it back and it stays put... no problem. It doesn't cover glans at all. I've heard other guys say it doesn't always stay back... i'm not sure why it is.
Best of luck..
Yes but that’s not necessarily a bad thing when you’re in your dotage like me.
