I get a nerve pulling really hard sensation on back part of the glans head. My doctor suggested to forget about the surgery and move on.

You might have to meet with a neurologist or urologist for other options such as symptomatic treatment . I don't know what and why surgery was even an option in your case . If it's indeed a nerve then a neurologist would be better and if you are mistaking any other anatomical structure such as the cord/frenulum or skin portion that's tugging at the back of your glans and causing the nerve pulling like pain then a Urologist can help you out . Either way there are definite treatment options out there and I hope you find them . Either way a good person to start with in my opinion would be a urologist more than a gp or a neurologist. Only if it's nerve related or not their expertise would a urologist then refer you to a neurologist . All the best !
