circumcision Scar tissue

Hi everyone

When I was younger I had circumcision due to medical reason , which all went fine as time has gone on the scar tissue has got worse and is quite noticeable.

Currently 25 now the scar tissue isn’t great to look at it also gets me down mentally as I don’t like the look of it , i have been to the doctors and they said the only way to fix it is operate again .. but also been informed this could effect me functionality and in a few years time I will be back to square one with the scar..

Was wondering is there anything I could do for this as it isn’t nice to look at and other people may think it’s something more serious ( warts etc ) , has it been to long to try as resolve / make the issue look more presentable.

Any help / advice would be helpful as don’t no what to do now.

Hi, don't know if you'll see this but I'll post anyway if someone finds this post and needs advice. I was in the same situation as yours , was circumcized when I was a kid and was left with pretty brutal scars . Grew up with it, didn't really thought much but it did affect my teenage life in a way as my penis really looked bad ( multiple bump around the top , not a smooth scar, several skin tissue hanging )3 months ago I decided to consult and the doctor told me that I really should re do my circumcision and that's what I did

I'm in 4 weeks post healing now, the healing went very fast as I was already circumcized and just needed the skin parts to be removed.

But the doctor did do a full circumcision procedure so I am in for several months of healing .

It doesn't look perfect, I a m still recovering but if you read this and had the same issue, go for it and re do it ! It will be painful, circumcision is not an easy thing and I wish we didn't do it on children without their consent but that's another topic. But it's worth it

Anyway, I really feel better with my penis, and the mental aspect is so important that it was worth every penny and post op disabilities .
