It's been close to 26 days approx (4 weeks ) since my circumcision. The stitches around the circumference are still present and only one part of the circumference of the stitch line has fallen off as you can see in the photo.
How long till all the stitches fall down or dissolve ? I had not allowed water to fall until my 3 Rd week. Since one week I'm taking hot water bath and cleaning my penis. The glans are still sensitive to touch and sting .
I'm waiting for stitches to fall away but no sign till now.
Pls help !

The time for the exterior part of dissolvable to fall varies. Guys are all different.
Those stitches do not look like dissolvable stitches. First of all, get some warm water and drench those stitches. After that gently and very patiently pull on the knots of the stitches, don't pull tightly, but try to open the knots, they will open, then pull on an end and pull out the whole stitch. Gradually do it for all stitches. Remember they will sting but you have you have to be gentle and very patient. After that apply some antibacterial ointment and cover up the wound, or else infection may happen at the stitch holes. Wash the wound twice a day with warm water only and keep it covered after applying the antibacterial ointment for one week.
Thanks for the reply but when I asked my doctor he said never pull them ...they will fall out by 6 weeks or else he will remove them he said . My only concern now is not pain as I don’t have any pain...but only my glans sensitivity issue . How long will it take the glans to become less sensitive as I still have not started to wear underwear and still haven’t touched my glans on purpose as it stings
Don't wear underway all of a sudden. The glans will desensitize only if they are exposed to some cloth material or touch or so. Try to wear a cotton cloth, like a lungi, for some weeks. You can apply some oil over the glans and rub gently with your finger, over the glans.
It's because the wound is not able to heal up due to the stitches. If it's been 4 weeks, it's more than enough time that you should open your stitches. After opening the stitches, it will be a lot comfy and you can consider desensitizing your glans. After opening the stitches keep only the scar line covered with a cotton cloth lightly under the glans and expose the glans to cloth and touch, that's the only way they will keratinize faster and the stinging feel will get converted to a good feel, you will enjoy it. It may take upto 3 weeks for the glans to desensitize if exposed but if you hesitate then the keratinize process could easily take upto 2-3 months.
FYI stitches don't dissolve by getting wet, they are absorbed by the body so what you see is likely only on the surface now. It would be OK to snip off the loose ends after this length of time if you're able to and if they're bothering you. Otherwise, as has already been advised, the time it takes for them to drop off varies from person to person.
